Starting from 2,000 attack, 20% crit, 50% crit damage at 1.5 attacks per second gives about 4,500 DPS. Adding 500 attack, 10% crit rate, and 25% crit damage raises that to roughly 7,080 DPS, a 57% gain. How It Works

Current DPS is attack x attack speed x (1 + crit rate x crit damage). The upgraded DPS applies the added attack, crit rate, and crit damage to the same formula. The gain percentage is the relative DPS increase. Kill time is monster HP divided by DPS, so time saved per kill is the difference. All math is the same illustrative expected-damage model used across these tools; real games add skill and damage-type modifiers.

What Should You Do?

Compare the DPS gain against the upgrade's cost or effort. A 57% gain is large, but if the upgrade is expensive, a smaller, cheaper upgrade may be better value. How do I read the kill-time saving?

It is how many seconds faster you down the target monster per kill. Over many kills, that adds up to a lot of saved time.

Do I need monster HP?

Only for kill-time estimates. Leave it out (or 0) and the tool still shows DPS and gain percentage.

Why does crit scale the way it does?

Because expected damage multiplies attack by (1 + crit rate x crit damage). Adding either stat raises that multiplier.

Are upgrades additive like this in real games?

Often flat stats are additive and percentages multiplicative, similar to this model, but exact stacking rules differ per game.

Should I stack one stat or spread upgrades?
